AUGUST & CIRCUIT DE SPA FRANCORCHAMPS

August is almost here and normally this means welcoming the month of the Belgian F1 GP race and thousands of people flooding the small village of Francorchamps.

If you are not already updated on the matter, this will not exactly be the case for this year’s season, as authorities require that the race takes place behind closed doors.

THE NORM & WHAT TO EXPECT THIS YEAR

In a normal, non COVID-19, year the track stops all trackday activities roughly 2 weeks before the race and restarts about a couple of days after.

This of course makes sense if you take into consideration the huge amount of work that has to be done in order to host all the teams, trucks, cars and visitors.

This leads us to the next point! If this year doesn’t have visitors then maybe we can have some more trackdays squeezed in August!

Well… NO!
