Since yesterday, the 16th of September, the Belgian Foreign Affairs Department has announced that North Holland (including the area of Amsterdam) but also the South Holland (Rotterdam & Hague) are now considered to be red zone areas.
“This means that Belgium will no longer allow non-essential travel to these areas, and being tested and quarantined upon return will be mandatory, from Friday 18 September at 4:00 PM.”
The same seems to apply for Hungary’s & Croatia’s capital cities Budapest and Vienna respectively as written on the Brussels Times article.
The list goes on mentioning other countries as well so be sure to have a read and update your driving/travelling calendar accordingly as you might have to either quarantine on your way back or even cancel your trip.
